The Department of Evil Workplace Repression (DEWR) in the Sewer is totally responsible for EA’s insanity. Nothing to do with Taroh cards or Louigi boards.

Gertrude”s Diary is controversial! You wouldn”t guess it from my meek exterior, or the mild subject matter I employ, but it”s true. Loadedog has been approached with a complaint about my last entry. I”m actually incredibly grateful to the gentleman in question, because twice now he”s provided me with an introduction that segues perfectly from the previous instalment. Thanks!
We’re back in the loungeroom again, this time with guests George Bardon, Chelle Witfield and Leon Twardy of the band Plug. It’s a great podcast both musically and in the conversation which is more than usually filled with slander, vilification and disturbing personal revelations.

It was both touching and edifying to run into some of the surviving members of the 8th Battalion who fought in Vietnam in 1969-70 and who were ‘celebrating’ the 40th anniversary of the Battalion’s raising with, amongst other things, a few beers at Olims Hotel the other night.
I keep a copy of St Francis of Assisi”s Peace Prayer above my desk. Whenever I feel particularly ticked off with something or someone, I try to remember to read it. Today I”m focussing on the line, “where there is injury [let me sow] pardon”. That”s “sow” as in seeds, not as in a female pig. You see, I”m a little outraged because I offered a jar of my special marmalade, made with seville oranges, limes and big, juicy bush lemons to an acquaintance, and he pulled a face and said, “I don”t know, it sounds inedible”. How rude! That”s “rude” as in what a pig.
Our 50th podcast was recorded live in the theatre of the National Film and Sound Archive, celebrating both the roundness of the number of shows, and the fact that the NFSA is archiving our shows for posterity. At 90 minutes and 51 megs it’s our longest podcast ever.
